This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work as cosmetic tattooists who design and provide cosmetic tattooing services.

These individuals work autonomously and are accountable for personal outputs. Their work involves the self-directed application of specialised knowledge and experience to consult, design and manage sequential treatment programs. They possess highly developed communication and technical skills. Practitioners operate within a defined scope of practice and use initiative and judgement to refuse or refer treatments as required.

Work is typically conducted in beauty salons and skin clinics.

The skills in this qualification must be applied in accordance with Commonwealth and State or Territory legislation, Australian standards and industry codes of practice.

Our accredited Diploma of Cosmetic Tattoo provides you with more hands-on, practical experience and confidence than any short course or masterclass can compare to.

You will complete services for six models for each skills set – lips, eyeliner and eyebrows – along with their touch-up services (36 total live model treatments). You will also learn three separate techniques for eyebrows including hairstrokes, combination and powder/ombre.
